Interpretation of Gandharva on the basis of Indian context
Abstract
The word Gāñdharva (गाञ्धर्व) derived from the word Gañdharva . It can be expressed in broad and restricted sense where first-one indicates all music in the celestial sphere and second-one is a particular musical form under very special part of the entire range of ancient forms.
