Note on solving the transcendantal equation √(2z-4)=√(x+√C y)∓√(x-√C y) with three unknowns for two particular values of C using continued fractions
Abstract
In this paper, we propose the solution in N3 of the equation 2z-4=x+Cy∓x-Cy using continued fractions for two particular values of C. Our work extend the study that is already recently done on the same context. Our method will be based over the theory of continued fractions. We give the general expression of solutions by the recurrence relation.
