Abstract

Night soil are biodegradable, renewable, sustainable, and extremely friendly to the environment. They provide a constant flow of important nutrients and restore the depleted vitamin and essential mineral content to the soil. These days, the number of good quality night soil is available in the market. Farmers, landscapers, gardeners, and homeowners from all around the globe are using its quality products for the better growth of plants. Human excreta may be alternative for as fertilizer because of the high demand for fertilizer and the relative availability of the material to create night soil. In areas where native soil is of poor quality, the local population may weigh the risk of using night soil. People have relied on human excrement or “night soil” as a source of agricultural fertilization. a brief overview of the historical use of human excreta for agricultural application in disused.
