Abstract

Jubail is the world's largest civil engineering project, which is home to the largest city in the Middle East. It is the fourth largest petrochemical company in the world and the largest in the Middle East. Apparently, the COVID -19 pandemic has had a devastating impact on the global economy. This study tends to investigate the extent at which "the box it in" strategy has been effective in containing the spread of the pandemic. The investigation seeks to know if there is any statistical association between the most prevalent symptoms and the confirmatory test result, nasopharyngeal PCR. Furthermore, it identified that there was significant association among URT symptoms like cough, sore throat, fever, shortness of breath and COVID-19 PCR result. However, it shows no significant relationship between anosmia or nausea and vomiting.
