Abstract

The digital economy has emerged as a significant driver of economic growth and transformation worldwide. This paper aims to explore the impact of the digital economy on the region of Wales, focusing on its potential benefits and challenges. By examining various aspects such as technological advancements, employment opportunities, innovation, and policy implications, this study provides insights into how the digital economy has shaped the economic landscape of Wales. The findings suggest that while the digital economy offers numerous opportunities for growth and development, addressing issues such as digital infrastructure, skills gaps, and regional disparities remains crucial for maximizing its potential in Wales.
