AIGC, meta-universe and other technologies are the trend of the future development of the publishing industry, and also bring a new communication configuration. This paper tries to explore from the framework of three elements of publishing, under the continuous application of AIGC technology, the traditional publishing industry has experienced from single-reading publishing to interactive reading mode with personal participation, which emphasizes more on the subjectivity of users. AIGC has further expanded the spatial dimension of the publishing industry through the diversification of publishing subjects, digitization of publishing carriers, and technological innovation, and AIGC, as a linker, has played an increasingly important role in bridging the boundaries between the physical publishing industry and readers. In the future, AIGC will give birth to more virtual and real fusion of publishing forms, accelerating a new round of innovation in the publishing industry.
