Innovative Learning Design Using Canva and Padlet for Teachers: Community Service (PKM)
Abstract
In the ever-evolving landscape of education, the quest for innovative approaches to learning design is paramount. This research delves into the realm of Innovative Learning Design using Canva and Padlet for teachers engaged in Community Service (PKM). Recognizing the crucial role of instructional materials in facilitating effective teaching and learning, this study seeks to assess the transformative potential of these digital tools in enhancing educators' pedagogical practices. This PKM was implemented at the Karawaci 13 public elementary school (SD), in Tangerang City. The training participants involved 11 teachers. The PKM implementation method consists of several steps, namely identification of problems, data collection, making proposals, training, making activity reports article writing. The results of the training received a positive response from the teachers because they were able to create learning designs using Canva and Padlet. According to teachers, learning design using Canva and Padlet is more interesting to apply in the learning process for elementary school children. In conclusion, implementing Canva and Padlet training can be an alternative for teachers to make classroom learning more interesting. The implications of this PKM can be used as an acceleration program in the development of professional teacher development which needs to be considered by school administrators and stakeholders. PKM is further advised to involve more elementary school teachers in Tangerang City and in the Regency.
