Basic translation methods English-Vietnamese and Vietnamese-English on the topic of economics
Abstract
Translation is a difficult skill in language learning in general and in learning English in particular. Translation on economic topics is often considered an interesting topic, attracting many readers; however, it is a challenging subject due to economic terminology, sometimes influenced by translation methods. This article is based on translation theories to explore translation methods from English to Vietnamese and Vietnamese to English on the topic of economics. It aims to provide insights into translation and propose some basic translation methods, along with examples of translated texts related to the “Economics” topic, to enhance vocabulary in economic terms and refine translation skills for learners.
