Abstract

In this paper, we would like to give a survey and review of applications based on Lidar Sensor and ToF (Light Detection & Ranging Based on Time of Light). The survey article will first introduce the basic concept of LiDAR and ToF sensors system. Then, numerous applications based on LiDAR and ToF sensors are given in specific fields such as consumer electronics, industrial & smart-city, autonomous vehicles, and space & military. Finally, the technology trends and road map of those products are also discussed in detail.
