Exploring the interplay between technological advancements, organizational policies, and employee privacy rights: An exploratory factor analysis
Abstract
In today's digital workplace, technological advancements have reshaped the landscape of organizational operations, offering unprecedented efficiency and connectivity. However, concerns about the erosion of employee privacy rights have emerged alongside these innovations. This study investigates the interplay between technological advancements, organizational policies, and employee privacy rights, focusing on the moderating role of organizational policies. Through an exploratory factor analysis (EFA), the study delves into the underlying structures within each domain. Results reveal nuanced dimensions of technology usage, policy influence, and employee privacy concerns. The findings underscore the importance of tailored interventions to safeguard privacy rights in the digital age. By understanding these dynamics, organizations can navigate the complexities of workplace technology while preserving employee privacy.
