AI Governance: Between Humanizing the Law and Achieving Justice
Abstract
The contemporary world is witnessing a rapid digital revolution that has made artificial intelligence (AI) one of the most prominent manifestations of the transformation in both human thought and the legal system. AI has transcended its traditional role as an aid in industrial production or computational processing, becoming a key player in administrative decision-making, providing judicial advice, analyzing legal data, and even, at times, in drafting judgments and predicting the outcomes of lawsuits.
This tremendous development has raised fundamental questions about the human role in the decision-making process and the extent to which the use of intelligent systems aligns with the principles of justice and human dignity, which constitute the core of law and its philosophy.
