The contribution of the private sector to Vietnam’s economic development
Abstract
Since the 6th Party Congress, the private economy in Vietnam has been recognized as a part of the multi-sector economy. Developing the private economy within a socialist-oriented market economy is a sound and consistent policy. For countries, especially developing countries, the private economy is the driving force for economic development. The role of the private sector is increasingly strong with the availability of funding and loans that support the exploitation of private sector resources, provide new financial sources and expand partnerships of the private sector. With priority programs and new institutions, human resources are structured in the private sector, enabling it to contribute more significantly to the country's economic development.
