Abstract

Self-Help Groups (SHGs) have emerged as pivotal platforms for fostering women’s entrepreneurial success, particularly in developing regions. This study examines the multifaceted role of SHGs in empowering women economically and socially. By facilitating access to microfinance, skill development programs, and collective support systems, SHGs enable women to initiate and sustain micro-enterprises. These initiatives enhance women's confidence, decision-making capabilities, and leadership skills, contributing to their socio-economic upliftment. However, challenges such as societal norms, limited market linkages, and gender disparities persist. Addressing these barriers through tailored training, financial literacy programs, and inclusive policies is crucial for maximizing the potential of SHGs in driving women's entrepreneurial growth.
