Abstract
Optimizing Demand Side Management (DSM) in industrial sectors is essential for enhancing energy efficiency, reducing operational costs, and supporting sustainable development goals. This paper presents a policy-driven approach to DSM optimization, focusing on the industrial sector's unique challenges and opportunities. The proposed approach integrates regulatory frameworks, financial incentives, and technological innovations to improve energy use and manage demand effectively. By examining current DSM practices and identifying gaps in policy and implementation, this paper provides actionable recommendations for policymakers to enhance DSM strategies in industrial settings.
