Abstract

The rapid evolution of data-driven organizations necessitates a strategic approach to aligning projects with overarching business goals. This paper introduces a systematic model for developing strategic roadmaps tailored to the unique needs of data-centric enterprises. The model integrates principles of risk management and stakeholder alignment to ensure organizational objectives are met efficiently and sustainably. Drawing from practical applications and industry best practices, the approach emphasizes iterative planning, prioritization of high-impact initiatives, and continuous performance evaluation. Key components of the roadmap include defining organizational vision, identifying key performance indicators (KPIs), and leveraging data analytics to inform decision-making. Risk management is embedded within the framework to address potential challenges, ranging from technological obsolescence to data security threats, ensuring robust mitigation strategies are in place. Stakeholder alignment is achieved through structured engagement processes that foster collaboration among cross-functional teams, aligning diverse interests and expertise toward shared goals. The proposed model also highlights the importance of scalability and adaptability, enabling organizations to respond to evolving market dynamics and technological advancements. Case studies from leading data-driven organizations illustrate the practical implementation of the framework, showcasing its effectiveness in driving innovation, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing decision-making. By systematically aligning projects with business goals, organizations can bridge the gap between strategic intent and operational execution, fostering a culture of data-driven excellence. This paper contributes to the growing discourse on strategic management in the era of big data, offering actionable insights and tools for leaders seeking to navigate the complexities of modern business environments.
