Abstract

In recent years, music recommender systems (MRSs) have undergone the rapid growth, thanks to the presence and success of online streaming services, which nowadays make available almost all music in the world. In this paper, K-nearest neighbor (KNN) was used to build a music listening system that combines suggestions based on the melody of the songs. The obtained system having Website interface exhibits the intuitive and user-friendly characteristics, which is full of necessary information. Also, the highly accurate recognition and recommendation features were reported in the proposed system. The optimization of user experience with flexible interface designs for smartphones, tablets, and computers was also the strong points.
