Abstract

Cloud environments are increasingly becoming the backbone of modern IT infrastructure, yet they also present growing security and compliance challenges. Traditional security models rely on static, rule-based policies that fail to keep up with the dynamic and distributed nature of cloud ecosystems. Event-driven security is an emerging paradigm that enables organizations to proactively respond to security threats and compliance violations through real-time automation. This paper explores the implementation of event-driven security in cloud environments, covering key components such as event ingestion, policy enforcement, and automated threat mitigation. It also discusses real-world use cases, industry best practices, and future trends in securing cloud workloads through event-driven architectures.
