Innovative Public Health Strategies and Care Delivery Models to Enhance Outcomes for People Living with HIV
Abstract
This paper explores innovative public health strategies and emerging care delivery models aimed at improving health outcomes for people living with HIV. Despite significant progress in HIV prevention and treatment, traditional care models face persistent challenges, including access disparities, stigma, and fragmented service delivery. The paper highlights the effectiveness of novel interventions, such as mobile health technologies, telemedicine, data-driven outreach initiatives, and integrated care models, in overcoming these barriers. These innovations have demonstrated potential in enhancing healthcare access, increasing patient engagement, improving treatment adherence, and fostering multidisciplinary collaboration among healthcare providers. By evaluating the current strategies and identifying key gaps, the paper emphasizes the need for scalable, sustainable solutions prioritizing patient-centered approaches and holistic care. Furthermore, it proposes actionable policy and practice recommendations for policymakers, healthcare providers, and community organizations to foster the widespread adoption of these innovative models. Ultimately, the paper argues that continuous innovation, integration of services, and patient empowerment are crucial to improving long-term health outcomes for people living with HIV and advancing the effectiveness of global HIV care.
