Abstract

Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) have become integral to the claims management process within the insurance industry. TPAs act as intermediaries between insurers, policyholders, and claimants, providing claims processing services, claim settlement, and managing risk. This paper explores the role of TPAs in claims management, examining their contributions to efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality improvement in the insurance industry. We investigate the benefits, challenges, and emerging trends associated with TPA engagement, as well as their impact on customer satisfaction, compliance, and operational performance.
