Abstract
Leave and absence management is not just an HR function—it plays a significant role in overall workforce management. Workforce management (WFM) refers to the processes and tools organizations use to optimize employee productivity and absence management is one of the essential yet challenging aspects of WFM. Noncompliance with global and regional laws can cause financial, legal and reputational risks for any organization. Workday’s Time Off and Absence module is one of the effective modules in the HRIS systems that offer simple solutions for compliance that helps achieve employee satisfaction. This white paper talks briefly about various compliance challenges faced by organizations, Workday’s approach to solve these challenges along with highlighting other aspects of Time off and leave module.
