Defect Life Cycle Management for Continuous Improvement in Software Development
Abstract
Problems with software quality necessitate particular attention, particularly given the need for high-quality software to satisfy customers. How to create high-quality software while lowering the amount of faults is the study's research issue. Thus, this paper's goal is toward offer a systemaimed at handling software flaws via adhering to specified life cycle procedures. Reviewing standards, best practices, defect models, and defects is the first step of technique. A life cycle framework for defect management is suggested. This study's primary contribution is the definition of a software development roadmap for defect management. The ultimate goal of creating superior software items is aided by the implementation of an efficient defect management procedure, which also supports ongoing software process development.
