Abstract

The need for digital literacy in a country as populous and diverse as India is critical. The main objective of the paper is to know the teacher’s perspectives towards digital literacy with respect to their gender, group and teaching experience. Digital literacy tool was constructed by the investigators and used to collect the data from the selected teachers. Samples of seventy five teachers from Nambiyur block, Erode District were taken. The result revealed that there is significant differences in teacher’s perspectives towards digital literacy with adhere to their gender, group and teaching experience. The study concluded that there is a need that they understand the digital tools that can unlock their deeper teaching potential.
