The article analyzes the role of the family in the development of the child, based on the theoretical frameworks such as Erikson's theory of psychosoyal development, Bowlby's attachment theory and bronfenbrenner's theory of ecological systems. In addition, the change of family structures in today's conditions, digital parenting, the impact of economic and cultural factors on the family-child relationship is evaluated extensively. As a result, in order to grow healthy generations, the impact of the family on psychosoyal development should be understood scientifically, the development of supportive policies and preventive intervention programs should be expanded.
