Abstract

God Almighty has provided this language with distinguished scholars who defend it, preserve it, raise its banner, and dedicate themselves to its advancement and flourishing. They established its rules, strove to reveal its beauty, and facilitated its learning and teaching to its native speakers and others.
Among them was Hasan ibn Abdullah ibn Ali al-Muradi, born in Egypt, known as Ibn Umm Qasim, after his paternal grandmother, who died in AH.
Al-Muradi grew up in a flourishing scholarly environment, mastering Arabic and becoming a leading authority on grammar, linguistics, and Quranic readings. One of his most prominent teachers was Abu Hayyan al-Andalusi (d. AH), the renowned grammarian And Majd al-Din al-Tustari (d. AH) and al-Siraj al-Damanhuri (d. AH).
