Sustainable development in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam: Some theoretical and practical issues
Abstract
In this article, the author has justified to clarify the implementation of the sustainable development strategy in Ho Chi Minh City over the past time. According to the author, in addition to the great achievements achieved, we are also facing some fundamental problems arising in the development process in the Ho Chi Minh City, as the economy has growth but not really sustainable; Not yet done well in combining economic growth with social progress and justice; mechanical pollution and depletion of natural resources. On that basis, the author proposes some key solutions to effectively contribute to solving the problems mentioned above.
