Our world today is witnessing a radical, remarkable, and rapid transformation towards a digital economy based on modern (advanced) technology and artificial intelligence as the primary drivers of growth and production. This research aims to analyze the role of artificial intelligence in reshaping markets and work patterns, determining its impact on improving productivity on one hand, and creating fundamental changes in labor structures on the other. A descriptive analytical approach was employed to understand the relationship between digital transformation and its accompanying economic and social transformations. The results showed that artificial intelligence contributes to increased productivity and reduced operating costs; however, it simultaneously creates new challenges related to the decline of many traditional jobs and the urgent need to reskill the workforce to meet new economic demands. This research concludes with recommendations calling for the adoption of flexible economic and educational policies that support innovation and protect social equilibrium in the digital labor market.
