Principal of Diagnosis in Ayurveda: A review article
Abstract
Vikrti means the study of changes taking place at the level of fundamental factor of disease i.e. may be that in form of Vrddhi, or Kasya. Vikrti Vijnana deals with the fundamental factor essential to understand the disease process as well as diagnosis of disease. It provides information about Disease and its diagnostic factor, patient and methods of examination. Roga Pariksha is the examination of Roga. Rogi Pariksha is the examination of Rogi. In the present article methods of examination / diagnosing as per ayurvedic classics are mentioned.
