Fracture mechanics test standards for polymers and composites
Abstract
This research is based on the highlighting of the tests and tests standard that it is related to Fracture Mechanics. There are very many tests, but the research focuses on the most important tests which are the impact tests and fracture roughness tests. In the first two chapters I presented the impact test, a widely utilized standardized test method the charpy impact test, with its quantitative and qualitative results. In the second chapter I emphasized the fracture toughness test’s three-point beam bending tests. The research has in plan to explain in detail the test and tests standard pertaining to Fracture Mechanics.
